As one of the four
famous gardens of the Qing Dynasty in Guangdong, it
was built during the 8th year of the Xianfeng Period
by Zhang Jingxiu from Guangcheng. The total area is
2,200 square meters. In the garden we can see Chinese
pavilions of delicate designs. The buildings were all
built with smoked bricks this giving them its characteristic
classic look. Keyuan is a sample of South China gardens
and architecture.
